It varies from person to person depending on prior experience and how often you practise. As a guide, the DVSA estimates most learners need around 45 hours of professional lessons, plus private practice. We'll give you an honest estimate after your first lesson.
We'll check your provisional licence, have a relaxed chat about your experience and goals, then walk through the cockpit drill and controls. Once you're comfortable, we move to a quiet road to practise moving off and stopping safely.

Yes. Our intensive courses are tailored to your experience level and designed to get you test-ready in weeks rather than months, with a mock test and fast-track practical test booking included.
We're based in Waltham Abbey and cover the surrounding areas including Epping, Cheshunt, Enfield, Loughton, Nazeing, Broxbourne and Harlow. We can pick you up from home, college, or work.
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any changes or cancellations. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, we reserve the right to charge for the lesson.
